With the
FabricFast Ultra Inks we recommend the following maintenance settings and handling for a Mimaki TX2 to prevent ink dry out or clogging nozzles.
Printer Control Panel
- Refresh Level 3
- Auto Cleaning ON
If the printer rest for 2-3 days or more we recommend to make the pads from the docking station wet with the flush solution before moving the carriage back.
The more the printer is in use the better, if possible print an image or a nozzle test at least once a week if the printer sits inactive for a period of time.
Note: The above recommendations are very common and may used with all other ink formulations as well except may be for the Refresh Level which is usually set to 2.
