Why not use the waterbased pigment inks on HP or Canon? 5 Months, 1 Week ago
The FabricFast Ultra pigment ink contains a binder which is cured to the fabric by heat.

Your HP or Canon is a Thermal inkjet (also called bubble jet) and has a print head that projects the ink droplets by heating the ink which is of course no good for the binder, while Piezo printers eject the ink by an electric impulse.

To use the pigment inks you'll need a printer with print heads based on Piezo or Epson technology.
