You have to -- in order to post messages. However, registration will give you also access to additional features not available to guest users such as definable avatar images, private messaging, emailing to fellow users, user group subscription, etc. It only takes a few minutes to register so it is recommended you do so.
Note: Once you are registered to the web site you automatically are registered to the forums as well. An additional registration is not needed!
