Ink, toner usage is usually described by the printer manufactures as so many pages of A4 using 5% coverage.

There are some unique tools available to measure the total usage of ink on a particular image before printing. We think that can be very usable for print shops and home users as well and I like to discuss some options here or hear your opinion about.
