The Business of Celebrity Real Names
They’re kind of all over the map, in this case; and the fact of the matter is, is that these celebrities, they have celebrity real names, but they’re not really all that publicized or made public, or popular, for a number of reasons; for one, you just don’t want to be throwing out your name like that, when you’re a pop star; you need some sort of privacy, and it definitely is something that we all kind of struggle with; there are so many other things that we have to struggle with as people, at that kind of human condition level and plane of things, we don’t need to throw that on as well. And another thing is, is that when you’re in the entertainment business, there’s brand recognition there; there’s equity and value in a name, and it’s a reputation; that’s what those things are all about: business, money, and market share.
