Trident Offers New Digital Printing Inks

Trident has launched the FabricFast Ultra line of pigment inkjet inks with binders. The new inks are designed to create more brilliant colors during digital fabric printing than previous generations of inks.

The inks also offer improved wash fastness on untreated fabrics, including cotton and natural fibers. In testing, untreated fabrics printed with the inks achieved wash fastness ratings of four out of a possible five.

FabricFast Ultra inks are available in CYMK, cyan light, magenta light and grey, as well as orange, blue, red and green spot colors.

FabricFast ink provides the soft hand of dye-based inks with the wash fastness and light fastness of pigment inks in an ecologically friendly water base. Unlike dye-based inks, FabricFast Ultra inks do not require steamers to bind them to fabric. Instead, they can be cured through simple heat fixation, which streamlines the curing process and offers better job-to-job color consistency.
