Move the Carriage

Release the white lever at the bottom left side of the cartridge carriage, which allows you to freely move the cartridge carriage to the left, away from the docking station.

Use a good light force, two types of pliers because the working space is very small and the pump tubing, where you need to attach an additional length of tubing, is no more then 1 Inch long.

Attach a length of tubing, long enough to have the end outside the printer, to the tube from the pump.

Finished!

Once you are done;

  • Place the white side cap back.
  • Move the carriage back home to the docking station.
  • Doublecheck the paper-thickness lever is in the mid-position
  • Replace the cover to the printer and you are all set.

If operating the printer, unscrew the bottle cap a little bit or, as I prefer, drill a little hole in the bottle cap to allow trapped air to escape.
